How can I share a VoiceBo on Facebook, Twitter, SMS or Email
How can I share a VoiceBo on Facebook, Twitter, SMS or Email; or any other means for that matter?
This article will focus primarily on the VoiceBo smart-phone app, however, the desktop version of the app is almost as powerful when it comes to sharing VoiceBo's...
Once you have recorded a VoiceBo within your VoiceBo App and you have hit the "Click to Save" button, the Voice or Audio component of your VoiceBo is of course well on it's way to the VoiceBo servers and ready for you to add some optional extras if you like. Extras such as a short description, an image/photo, a location and even tag words.
Whether or not you choose to add any optional extras on the "publishing options screen" or not, it's entirely up to you. But we do recommend that you consider adding some extras. In any case, there is more information on that subject and many other subjects at http://voicebo.com/how-to
But back to the sharing options and possibilties..
After your Direct or Public VoiceBo has been created within the VoiceBo App, on the "publishing options screen" you will notice two very powerful little buttons. "Share" and "Copy".
The "Share" Button
Simply click on the "Share" button and you will now be presented with a number of options to share your VoiceBo. And here is a brief list as illustrated in the associated image within this article.
- Share your VoiceBo's directly on Facebook
- Share your VoiceBo's directly on Twitter
- Share your VoiceBo's directly on Tumblr
- Share your VoiceBo's by Email
- Share your VoiceBo's by SMS Text Message
And if you don't see all of these options, then simply click on the "More" button within the Share mechanism and you will find the other options there :-)
The "Copy" Button
Now this is where it get's interesting... You will note the small text box window in the "publishing options screen". This text message along with it's associated hyperlink (the location where your Direct or Public VoiceBo has been published to), can now be copied to your device's clipboard with just one touch of the "Copy" button. e.g. "Please listen to my VoiceBo message via this link: http://voicebo.com/NrukSx "
You can now paste this message just about anywhere; and here a few examples:
- Paste your VoiceBo message as a reply to an email you have received
- Paste your VoiceBo message as a comment on someone's status update on Facebook
- Paste your VoiceBo message in response to an SMS message you've received on your smart-phone
- Paste your VoiceBo message in any other blog or forum
- Paste your VoiceBo message in documents
- Paste your VoiceBo message about yours or others Facebook photos
Once you have used the Copy to Clipboard process, you can literally paste a VoiceBo message anywhere; it's really up to your own imagination.
The VoiceBo Player Widget
If you are viewing a VoiceBo from your desktop computer, you can even grab the embed code and embed a VoiceBo player directly into a website or blog. Great for journalists, marketers, bloggers, tech support forums and many other sites and services.
